This wedding was so special because I’ve known Susanne and her family for many years. It was an honor to be around old acquaintances and friends and to be able to preserve memories for future generations. How refreshing to not only capture their wedding, but also to be able to share in Peter and Susanne’s joy! They waited and planned for a couple years and to see them reciting vows and exchanging rings was met with much celebration afterwards. Their wedding and reception was held on a gorgeous late summer day with sunlight filtering through the trees and windows at the Civic Auditorium and the outdoors Governor Small Memorial Park in Kankakee, Illinios. I wish Peter and Susanne the best! ❤
This wedding so special and the people were so fun! We started out at St. Paul Community Church in Homewood and Then the reception was held at a nice venue called Red Palm in Evergreen Park. It was cute to see the playful interaction between the bride and groom and guests as well!
For my first blog post, I wanted to post a wedding that I photographed a couple years ago. What a sweet couple! The wedding was at a beautiful church, called Holy Family Church in Chicago. The ceremony was held at the classy little restaurant Nightwood Restaurant on Halsted St. in Chicago. They had quality live music playing while hors d’oeuvres were served and friends and family visited. It was beautiful to see such friendly exchanges.
